Course Description:
This course is suitable for beginners in woodwork. This woodwork course teaches the proper and safe use of woodworking tools and shows how to design and build your own projects. It will start off with a project that will incorporate the main woodworking joints and techniques used in furniture making. The participants will learn how to mark out pieces accurately and how to use hand tools and power tools. Participants will learn shaping and finishing skills. The learner will leave the course with a confident skill set to utilise as a stepping stone to further woodwork projects or home DIY.
Course Day & Time: Monday evening 7.30 -9.30

Cost: €190 (This includes cost of all materials needed for the class)
Course Format: In class with tutor. Maximum of 14 students.
Duration: 10 weeks
