Diploma of Merit - Full-time Barber Training Programme

*Please note all course have a max capacity of 8 students.

 HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK WILL I BE STUDYING ?

This course is FULL TIME. We will be spending 4 days at the academy and 1 Day inside the salon.

From our experience, you cannot become qualified as a barber on a part time course.

Of which we know are being offered with as little as 8 weeks and or even part-time for 12 weeks with only 5 hours a week training!!! This is certainly not good enough for a professional barber course in 2022.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL I RECEIVE?

At our ACADEMY it is our mission to revolutionise the standards of barbering across the industry, This course adopts this same attitude!

We are offer a Graduate Diploma with recognition as a State Registered Barber that entitles our graduates to use the designation SRB.  This is a very prestigious qualification for beginners barbering and is backed by the European wide training programme,

WHY DOES YOUR COURSE COST €6000 WHILE OTHER BEGINNERS COURSES ARE ONLY €3000?

 First of all,        Our course is 12 weeks full time,

From our market research the longest course in Ireland except for this is only 12 weeks, and that’s part time with only 5 hours per week of training.

Secondly,         From our experience those part-time courses generally leaves a student still unqualified and unable to earn money. This leaves a student in a position where they either have to invest in another course (€3000 again) or to find an position with a salon/barbershop who are willing to train them!

So at 12 weeks, FULL TIME at our academy. Our rate per day would actually be the same, except we are proposing a far higher standard of education, with enough time for the student to become comfortable as a barber and digest the information properly.

This is a career, not a course for your hobby, if you invest wisely from the start, you won’t need to buy twice

After 12 weeks of FULL-TIME training, you will receive having passed the theory and practical and technical exam overseen and validated by the Association of Hairdressers and barbers and the Barber Council a Diploma of Merit and the designation State Registered Barber (SRB) that has is recognised by the industry across Europe recognition the exam requirements these are the most prestigious certificates you can receive.

Upon completion, you will be recognised as a Junior Barber and can work on a shop floor which is vital. The aim is to produce barbers that will be trained in modern men’s hairdressing.
