The purpose of this award is to both teach the learner to recognise the personal care needs of clients and equip them with practical skills in the area of client personal care. You will be able to respond effectively to a client’s individual needs with their involvement and use of choice. You will learn how to maintain a safe, healthy and hygienic environment for clients (e.g., home help or care home setting).
